Product Introduction
DX243 Has the following product characteristics:
| technology | Acrylic acid |
| Chemical type | Dimethyl methacrylate |
| Appearance (uncured) | Blue liquid |
| Composition | Single component - no need to mix |
| Viscosity | Medium viscosity, thixotropy |
| Curing method | Anaerobic accelerator |
| Advantages of solidification | Room temperature curing |
| Application | Thread locking |
DX243 is a medium strength anaerobic thread locking adhesive with thixotropy, and does not require mixing of single components. This product solidifies between two closely fitting metal surfaces and is isolated from air. Especially suitable for surfaces with poor activity, such as stainless steel and electroplated surfaces. The thixotropic properties reduce the flow of liquid 243 after glue application and before solidification.

User Guide:
1. For optimal results, thoroughly clean the inner and outer surfaces of the threads with 755 cleaning agent and air dry.
2. If the material is an inert metal, spray accelerator 7649 on the mating surface and let it dry.
3. Shake well before use.
4. To prevent glue from blocking the glue nozzle, avoid the nozzle from coming into contact with metal substances.
5. Apply sufficient adhesive to the mating area of the threads, and do not apply it to the first section of the thread. The adhesive width should be 3-5 threads. For larger threads and clearances, the amount of glue applied can be adjusted and the product can also be applied to the internal threads.
6. Tighten the threads using ordinary methods until they are in the correct position. Reached maximum intensity after 24 hours.
7. Use standard disassembly tools to disassemble. In rare cases, due to the long fitting length, it is impossible to disassemble at room temperature. The bolts and nuts can be locally heated to 232 ℃ and disassembled while they are still hot.
8. For solidified glue, it can be soaked in gasket cleaning agent AC790 or mechanically polished with tools such as steel brushes.
Storage conditions:
This product should be stored in a dry and cool place, with an ideal storage temperature of 18-26 ℃.
Storage period: twelve months
To avoid contaminating unused adhesive, do not pour the poured adhesive back into the original packaging container.
Keep away from children.
Precautions:
This product is not suitable for use in pure oxygen and/or oxygen rich environments, and cannot be used as a sealing material for chlorine gas or other strongly oxidizing substances. To prevent children from coming into contact with the product, please refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for information on safe operation of this product. When using cleaning agents to clean the surface of materials, the compatibility between the cleaning agent and the adhesive should be checked. In some cases, the cleaning agents used may affect the curing and performance of the adhesive. This product is not recommended for use on plastics (especially thermoplastic plastics, which may cause cracking). It is recommended to test the compatibility of the product with the material before application.
