770 processing agent

Product Introduction:

The 770 processing agent primer is a mixed solvent that rapidly evaporates at room temperature. Used for surface treatment on silicone rubber or other elastic materials, in combination with cyanoacrylate adhesive. The properties of the material cured with cyanoacrylate adhesive are the same as those of the adhesive cured in TDS, unless otherwise specified.

Typical use:

Specially designed for silicone rubber and some thermoplastic elastomers, they are usually difficult to bond. However, after being treated with 770 polyolefin primer, these materials can be bonded with melamine acrylate adhesive.

770 treatment agent primer is only suitable for surface treatment of difficult to stick materials.

Typical features:

After treatment with activator 770, the fixation time and curing speed of the adhesive depend on the type of adhesive and substrate used.

The effect of primer on the curing speed of cyanoacrylate adhesive

This primer can serve as an activator and promoter for cyanoacrylate adhesives. Most of the bases treated with this primer have a fixation time of less than 5 seconds, but it takes 24 hours at room temperature (220C) to achieve maximum adhesive strength.

The influence of primer on the curing performance of cyanoacrylate adhesive

Products 401-A, 401-A2, and 899 are adhesives based on ethyl, methyl, and B methoxyethyl esters, respectively. Other liquid adhesives based on these esters have similar properties to the above three products. High strength, not recommended for use with gel products.

Please refer to the relevant adhesives in TDS for the effects of other solvents on the bonding system.

Precautions for operation:

The activator should be operated according to the operation method of highly flammable materials, and please follow the local regulations on the use of flammable materials during operation.

The solvents contained in the product may have an impact on certain plastics or coatings, so it is recommended that users confirm the compatibility of this product with the surface of the adhesive material before use.

Usage guide:

The primer can be applied by spraying, brushing, or dipping. Dry at room temperature. Avoid excessive primer. The primer applied can be detected using a UV lamp (365nm). If other substrates need to be bonded to polyolefin substrates, simply use the primer on the polyolefin substrate. This product should be used in an environment with good ventilation conditions. Do not use open flames or other sources of ignition on the construction site.

Storage conditions:

Unless otherwise indicated on the label, the ideal storage conditions for this product are in a cool, dry place within the temperature range of 8 ° C-28 ° C (46 ° F-82 ° F), stored in its original packaging. If this product is stored under conditions of 8 ℃ -18 ℃, it would be more ideal. To avoid contaminating unused glue, do not pour any spilled glue back into the original packaging bottle. If you want to obtain more specific information on storage life, please contact the local technical service department of Gaojian Company.
